Welcome to my Blog

My name is Ron and I began collecting gem stones in 1973. I'm a self-taught gem cutter since 2005, and I use an utratec faceting machine. I've cut about 200 stones and my favorite material to work with is beryl. My workshop is in my home. I'm primarily a hobbiest, but in recent years have begun custom cutting stones for friends, family, and others who have requested my services. I work closely with award-winning jewelers to make custom settings for my stones. Thanks for visiting my blog.
